7. Lloyd’s Inn

After a long adventure in finding Singapore Zoo, I decided not to have another one in a short period of time. I realized that it would be better for me to gather with my pack (colleagues from m school) so that tomorrow I could go together with them for our Maths Conference.

 

I had to change my entire evening plan for this. I did not know where Llod’s Inn was. I had a map from streetdirectory.com but I was not sure about it any more, not after what I just experienced. I just crossed my fingers hoping this one would turn to be ok.

So I stopped at Somerset MRT Station, went around @313somerset to buy some stuffs fir my friends and then headed for Llod’s Rd. After 20min, gladly I got there safe and sound! What a relief! Not only it did not get lost but I realized that this inn was in walking distance to Somerset and one station away fom Orchard Rd. 🙂 Great location!

 

Sadly, both auntie and uncle who were serving in the front office were a disappointment. There was no smile given at the first time I checked in. Oh well, this was not a fve star hotel after all. I then headed to my room. My roomie had checked in earlier but she was away. I refreshed myself and observed the room. Nice one, I thought, TV, cupboard, water pot, hair dryer were available there. Unfortunately, I then discovered that the TV only had Asian News channel and wifi only available at the lobby. ekh!  and one last disappointment was that the room had a very thin wall than my other colleague could hear all our coversation over night. gosh! that was crazy.

 

The next time I am going to stay here I will remember to keep my mouth shut and do all else silently….
