Being Alive

I’m not a broadway girl nor am I Stresand’s fan. But I cannot escape the words sung with my favourite voice of Chris Colfer from #Glee. Just now, Jakarta western time, I just watched the moment where Being Alive was sung. I did not understand it at first, but now… It’s vivid clear. Indeed, sometimes life dragged us into its slow tempo that made us feel like bunch of robots. We are alive without being alive. Ruin my sleep, make me confused, let me be used, vary my days, made alive!

Today is a public holiday in Indonesia. It’s a seclusion day for our Hindus friend. It’s not a good day to visit Bali though.

Anyway, my friend who is in Durham shares a card that she got from her son. “Mommy, I love you as wide as heaven…” Wow, isn’t a powerful words to say?

I would say the same if my mom is still around. Since she is not, I’ll try to say it to my God.
