All around Paris, France
I will close my Paris, France series with this one, surroundings. I just feel like I have to address this. Especially for all my Indonesian, or Asian, friends out there. There are so many things that we heard. Well, from the point of view of a traveller i just ant to clarify certain things.
1. Water is expensive in Paris
I want to tell you something. Drinking water is free in Paris. In most european countries, France is one of them, we can drink tap water. They are all good for drinking. Yes, the tap water in your bathroom. Don’t be surprised if your budget hotel did not provide you with complimentary bottled water. They are not stingy, they are basically normal. But if you prefer, mineral water, bottled and cold, then yes, you will need to pay 1.50 to 2.00 EUR a bottle, equals to 25.000 – 32.000 IDR or 10 times more expensive than a bottled water in Jakarta. So, bring a good water bottle and hop you go strolling Paris without having dehidration.
2. Toilet is expensive in Paris
Paid toilets are expensive in Paris, yes. But why do you have to go to the paid ones when you could find some free ones. We are adults, we know how much liquid and what kind of liquid we are taking and how they effect our bladder system. There are free toilets in Paris. Please… don’t be such a liar by telling people worldwide about this. But if you do urgently need to go to the toilet, then get your EUR ready. it’s 50 cents in parks and 1 EUR in malls or tourist attraction places.
All About That Bass
This is a very interesting song. People have became more and more creative each day. Great job! đ
Suit Up!
I think that women need a uniform. Thatâs what all men have. Think about it: Whenever a man has something important to do he puts on a suit. He doesnât even have to think about it. He knows when itâs time for a suit or notâŚAn important job? An interview? Appearing before the public? Going to a wedding? Appearing on television? Getting married? You name it. If itâs important. Men just put on a suit. The only thing men have to think about is what color? (if you have more than one suit of course)⌠And which tie?⌠Those are our only decisions.
But women?âŚWhat do I wear? Dress? Skirt? How long? Pants? Top? Which one? Which kind? Earrings? Necklace? Hair?!!!
And then, how much skin do I show? Legs? Arms? Breasts? Whatâs appropriate? Whatâs appealing? Whatâs naughtyâŚor nice? What statement will I be making with my clothing? What willâŚ

tillykke med fødselsdagen :)
Happy Birthday to my wonderful friend ever!
Though, I am in a far far faaarrr away land, nothing would stop me from celebrating your day! đ
I pray that your beautiful family will be an examplary of modern, simple, happy, godly family. I have never met someone who could pull out friendship and family at the same time. You set the bar so high that all others are falling behind. Keep being the “normal” one amongst us. And pray that this friendship would last than memory could ever do. Happy birthday. Or in danish, tillykke med fødselsdagen.  Love you! â¤
The Louvre, Paris, France
Ever since I watched and read The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, there’s this lingering feeling to visit The Louvre museum one day. Well, the day has come. And I have never felt like this for ages. I have never  imagine that I would be standing in front of the pyramid of The Louvre in Paris, France. What a dream came true! â¤
It’s not hard to get to this museum. There are signs to get there. Well, to make this settle once and for all, Paris is a very tourist-friendly place. But, even though there are so many tourist attractions in Paris. A place like The Louvre might push you to the limit because of its long (very long) queu. And sometime we just dont get it. We could buy the ticket else where, but where? Is it legal tickets? is it more expensive than the ticket from The Louvre counter?
Well, i’m glad to say. We really could get the tickets elsewehere to avoid the super long queu. The price is still the same and it’s legit! This is one of the “tourist-friendly” thing that I mentioned you ealier. In fact you might even get a discount if you booked the tickets in advance. Now, that’s a good deal, dont you think?
Arc The Triomphe, Paris, France
A true tourist should, I mean, SHOULD, go to Champs-ĂlyseĂŠs don’t you think? đ ⤠Well, not really. But for my sister it’s a must. Emphasis: A MUST. LOL
ARC THE TRIOMPHE
The Arc de Triomphe de l’Ătoile is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. It stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle, at the western end of the Champs-ĂlysĂŠes. (wiki)
So, we went there. I must have lost my mind because I did not bring my jacket with me. It was almost dinner time. We were welcomed with a strong chilly wind since it was actually a big space where there were no trees.
It was not a (poor) tourist friendly place I would say. Everything is expensive. I stared at Louis Vuitton boutique, which was closed. The size of the boutique and the displays. gulp. I wish I am a person of money. Then the boutique next to it, Rolex. Shoot. What’s with this people. Where do they get their money from? *rolling eyes*
I dragged my sister to the building. And of course, she said that we need to wait till they turned on the light. And so we waited. You can see from the picture that I was trying to stay alive bearing the coldness of the wind without jacket. hahaha.. stupido, says an italian.
CathrĂŠdale Notre Dame de Paris, France
“Notre Dame de Paris or just Notre Dame, is a historic religious cathedral, on the eastern half of the Ăle de la CitĂŠ in the fourth arrondissement of Paris, France. Some say it is possibly the most famous of cathedrals.” -wikipedia
And of course I went there! đ
