A cry

Hear my prayer, LORD, listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping.

I do not normally quote Paulo Coelho. Most probable because I have not read any of his book. But I have the feeling that he is just an atheist who is missing God in his writing. You are welcome to diagree on this. However, today I saw this quote on Facebook and I feel the sentiment.

“To write is to cry in silence.” When I read this, I am reminded of how David wrote some of the Psalms. I can imagine him penning down his cries in some of the parchment paper, in silence. When I read Psalm 39:12, I cannot say a word but feel him.

In writing, I cry. In silence.
