Kafe Antzokia, Bilbao, Spain
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
To be honest, I did not manage to write any piece for the passfew days as I promised myself to. Well, now I am trying to catch up. I hope it still feels as if it happened on the day.
I had a thesis proposal presentation on Thursday, 26 Nov as well as Spanish Redaccion 4 in the morning of the same day, not to mention I had the feeling of having the need to acompany batch 10 students of my program (I’m in bacth 9). After all the hustle and bustle were gone. We, me and my friends of the program decided to have a little celebration by going out for drinks and dance to Antzokia.
It was my second time going to this place. The first time I went there, I only stayed for 10 minutes. But this time I stayed quite longer. I have to admit, I am not a fan of its music. Yes, sometimes it played some music that I like and I can dance with but most of the time, it was kind of wierd combination. The place itself was kinda a mess on that particular night. We went there after a concert, so, it was a bit smelly, full with glass shattered on the floors and beer spills everywhere. Not the cleanest club I’ve been to.
After we arrived there for 10minute, three good looking guys were approaching one of my friends. They were really friendly. Then another two older nice looking guys also approaching another friend of mine. There were 8 of us in total. It was kind of wierd with these guys. I guess this is more a place to hooking up than to dance. If that’s your preference. But unfortunately, not mine. So, I kinda feel jiterry there. Especially when I danced, some of them just watched us dancing. Yes, most of them also danced, but I could see some eyes just hoovering me and my friends. I know… I know… It’s probably because we spoke English and not spanish that they might find us interesting. But still, it kinda not the best feeling in the world.
I saw some cuties and hotties there as well. And my friend really was so nice encouraging me to make some moves towards them. But I ended up with noone. hahaha… not an interesting story, eh? 😉
But it was actually a nice place to go to with friends. Not the best. But not bad at all. 7.5 out of 10 I would say.
