Chateau Motel

Me and my friends made an impromptu decision to come to Chateau Motel last weekend. It is at Knabrostræde 3 – 1210 Copenhagen, 10 minutes biking from my flat. We need to pay 100kr to get in before 00.00. It was a quick and easy entrance, just bring your id.

Unfortunately, I dont like the place at all. It was said to have 4 dance floors. But it was actually 2 floors with a mezanine floor for each floor. In each mezanine you could see down to the lower floor through steel railings. I felt I was in a cage, seriously more inhumane than cool. There are some lounges with bars and 1 small karaoke room. Both main dance floors are small in my opinion. And on the ground dance floor there was this lady who blew whistle every now and then. I have no idea what she up to. It’s so annoying. It didnot go along the music, so I stopped dancing everytime I heard that whistle.

What I dislike most about this club is that INDOOR SMOKING. Seriously, I have no idea how could the club allows people to smoke inside while it has a big outdoor lounge. Not to mention, it’s not allowed to smoke indoor in any other part of Copenhagen, for crying out loud. Also, the people there… I suspect them to be on drugs. Too much bumping here and there that no straight mind person would do. And guess what, I had coctails shower to my hair there. Some wacko from mezanine from spilled coctails and it went straight to my head. Stupidly I looked up to see what happened and some drops fell again to my eyes. I was on my contact lens… I felt my eyes were burnt and sudden blind when the alcohol went to my eyes. Grrr…

My friends took a photo with the sky mirror while I am busy avoiding blindness. Arrrgghh…. I just hate the place even more.
