tgif, copenhagen way
It has been a long week for me. How about you?
Aren’t you glad that it’s friday? Lots of people call it tgif. I am one of them who doesnot have the privilege to call out tgif since weekend is thesis writing time. huff 😤
But in between working hours today, my boss took me down to straighten our back, inhaling some fresh air and watching futsal match. We still need to go back to the office and finish all our work, but at least the smell of weekend refreshs for this worn soul.
Christmas prayers
Tell me that prayers do not work, then I will stop praying.
Today, I just wanted to share another answered prayer that I would need to look back to when I felt all my prayers were not answered.
Spritually bullied at Christmas season
So today, is the 8th of December 2015. I felt spiritually bullied. In Spain, today is a public holiday because Spain celebrates The Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
It is celebrating the solemn belief in the Immaculate Conception of theBlessed Virgin Mary. It is celebrated on December 8, nine months before the feast of the Nativity of Mary, which is celebrated on September 8. It is one of the most important Marian feasts celebrated in the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church celebrated worldwide. (source: wiki)
I perfectly understand that people dont share the same belief, but in a group where I am in, people mock, ridicule, and make joke on this day. I felt so.. so sad. Been living in the country where Islam is the majority belief, I have never felt spiritually bullied like today. What did Jesus do to them that they do this to him?
Storm
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.
A simple reminder in life.

Cooking in Spain: Banana Chocolate Puff Pastry A.K.A Bolen Kartika Sari
So, my papers drafts are due yesterday. And I totally forgot about them. I mean, I am writing them but I thought there are no deadlines. Hahaha… What was I thinking. So to not getting even more under pressure, I made some sort of Bolen (kartika sari is the famous brand in Indonesia). It is actually banana pieces with chocolate or chesse (or both) wrapped in a puff pastry dough. I bought the ready puff pastry dough for 2++eur.
