They said it’s gonna be a supermoon phenomena on this day. But what I knew was that, this is the day of the year where I miss my mom the most. The woman who brought me to this world and who had left me since I was 18.

I am more than grateful and beyond measure thankful for the past 34 years of my life. Yes. One of the perks of being old is that you could overlook all that stormy black cold sharp days and say that you are happy with life. But I have to say, today was a painful birthday to me, I spent the whole day fighting with my dearest blue-eyed-viking and ended the afternoon with a three letter word: Bye. And spent the rest of the evening breaking into parts and a flow of tears…

Another app on Facebook and vonvon to sum up your year through your pictures on FB page. The app is called Create Your Own 2015 Memory Photos Collage. I really like how it showed my collage. But the year of 2015 is so much more than that.

A Walk Through My Birthday

Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life.

This year I celebrated my birthday differently. I usually get on my knees at 00.00 to whisper a simple prayer of thankfulness for years that passed and hope for years to come.

This year, or last night, it was different. I was standing in line to enter a club, called Budha Bar, when the clock hit 00.00 CET.

Was I becoming less religious?

I hope the change of routine does not define my faith to God nor it makes me less religious. To all fairness, I did whisper a short prayer, with a very happy smile of “Thank you God” when I was standing there. It was as if He was standing next to me, along with my friends who hugged and kissed me and wished me happy birthday. Thank you for making me feel loved on this birthday.

I thank God for Christmas. Yes, I know, it’s not Christmas for most people around the world but it is for the danish. I went to the kitchen to see my landlady’s family and she asked how are you in this Christmas morning? …hihihi… I giggled in my thought, it’s not Christmas yet. But oh well, isn’t the Christmas spirit should be with us everyday? So, merry Christmas! 😉

A good night sleep, because don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves?

Longevity noodle for lunch, for long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.

A cup of sweet orange flavored tea, so that my words are like honeycombs, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Thank you Lord for today. It is just another day to mark how many years you have been with me. And through these years you have shown me that you are faithful and true. Teach me to number my days, that I may gain a heart of wisdom. Amen.

Happy Birthday to my wonderful friend ever!

Though, I am in a far far faaarrr away land, nothing would stop me from celebrating your day! 🙂

I pray that your beautiful family will be an examplary of modern, simple, happy, godly family. I have never met someone who could pull out friendship and family at the same time. You set the bar so high that all others are falling behind. Keep being the “normal” one amongst us. And pray that this friendship would last than memory could ever do. Happy birthday. Cakery: TLJ + 12CC

Happy Bday Asha!

She turns 1 few days ago! And she had a wonderful bday looking by the cake she had. Yumm!!

According to her mum who is one of my bestfriends, this selection of TLJ cake is also quite dry. I think they need to do a real makeover to their cake recipe. Maybe recipe for bread is just not right for cake. Their presentation is really appealing though. So, at least they are doing right on something.
