My Birthday Card

I just got this card from my friend. It’s a tradition for us to write a wish or something when anyone of us celebrate birthday. I know my birthday was a couple of weeks ago, but apparently this card was in someone’s bag, almost forgotten. I felt so happy when I received it since last year there was some misunderstanding that I wrote my own card for myself. LOL.

Today is a public holiday in Indonesia. It’s a seclusion day for our Hindus friend. It’s not a good day to visit Bali though.

Anyway, my friend who is in Durham shares a card that she got from her son. “Mommy, I love you as wide as heaven…” Wow, isn’t a powerful words to say?

I would say the same if my mom is still around. Since she is not, I’ll try to say it to my God.
