Virtual Christmas
Just got back from a short trip to Portugal, unaviodably sick. Remember that today is Christmas Choir Concert in Copenhagen so I asked my friends to record a little of Christmas taste from there.
Shepherd
Today was the last day of rehearsal for our Easter Concert, which is tomorrow!
Needing to hit some notes down, I came early to find that our choir director, our pastor, was still on his flight to Copenhagen from his vacation. I was stoned realizing it was a little over 10 and he was still not around. We were just a flock of few people who love to sing and fair to say that half of us could not sing let alone read note.
Merry Christmas!
I thank God for YOU! It’s your birthday but I get all the presents. I get my first white Christmas and i get a wonderful Christmas lunch with my pastor’s family. A happiness indeed! Thank God 🙂
Thank you notes :)
Inspired by Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show Thank You Notes, I am now going to pen some of my thank you for my 33th birthday. This is not going to be hillariously funny like the one on Jimmy Fallon’s show of course, but it sorta have the same essence. Lookie…
A walk in the park
Today, out of the ordinary was a sunny day. A beautiful sunny November Sunday in Copenhagen, Denmark. I went to the church and celebrated the Lord’s Supper with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Sometimes, knowing and having brothers and sisters in Christ is enough. I have so many things that I want. I have so many desires that I crave for. I have so many thoughts and worries for my future. But when I remember I have the Lord’s family, sometimes, it is just enough.
Happy Sunday, 19 Oct 2014!
Today was a very wet day from the time I woke up at 6AM all the way to the time I was back from church at 3PM. I had the sense that everytime I got excited going to church, rain poured down. It was a bit emotional morning for me too. Passing 7/11 at Hellerup St., Nordhavn, Nørrebro lake, and Grace Café was really a crush to my heart. As if I was crying with the sky.
I met the Pastor as soon as I arrived at the church. He knows me and he knows him. He greeted me by name and smiled. One of his lines in his sermon was when you lose a friend, remember that God has something greater in store for you. You are the heir of His promise. He keeps His promises. Amen.
