Papa Ramen
Papa Ramen is the second option of ramen place that I would recommend after Ramen to Bííru.
I actually chose the place as a farewell dinner for our friend Campbell. I thought the best place to send someone to a new journey is a place where we could experience a lot of flavor.
Ramen to Bííru
Cafe Central, Vienna
On a sunny August afternoon, me and my friends decided to take a touristy detour in vienna.
Mi piace il cibo italiano
I love Italian food! ❤
Few months back, before I flew to Denmark, I decided to try some beautiful delicious food. And since I love italian food, one of the places that I visited was Peppenero at Graha Niaga, Jakarta.
Blackball: cold Asian dessert
On my conquest exploring Asian dessert around my workplace before I leave, I came to the famous Blackball, Dessert House around PIK.
I must say, I do not have enough experience to develop sensitive taste buds to distinguish the differences of oh-so-many new Asian dessert house in Jakarta, specifically in PIK area.
But I must say, as a non-chinese Indonesian, I am thrilled to see that this one provides wonderfully designed eating area while most of the others just give plain under-decorated plastic chairs and alumunium tables. You can see and feel the difference from the very step you enter in.
Durian Cafè
Born and live in tropical paradise of Indonesia, I came to know lots of wonderful things that half of the world could never imagine seeing them. Of course I am referring to Durian. You might already knew it. It’s a tropical fruit found in SouthEast region of Asia. The famous hard-skin covered with spikes is the idea of Singapore Opera House, not that any durian every comes from Singapore. Sorry to say. Probably the most well breed durian is the Thailandnese, Monthong. But my friend will argue about this since she said her all time favourite is Penang durian (I forgot the name) which I have never tasted before. So, no point of arguing since I am not in the position to compare. I am easy to please person. So, I am good with small Indonesian under breed durian which taste absolutely amazing. And here, in Jakarta particularly, we dont just eat them fresh. We make them into dishes. How clever are we? 😋
Dessert Company
It was a hard working day at the school I am teaching. We seriously needed a break. So, my friend and I decided to run away for a short afternoon snacks. And we chose Dessert Company.
The Playground
One of the most famous malls in South Jakarta (not so) recently opened a new wing of restaurants row, street gallery. My friends and I visited The Playground there.
Sight
Among my favourite sights is a collectibles. I saw this shelves on top of Carlo de Huts cashier. I sat exactly opposite to these wonderful shelves. Why is it wonderful? Well for a person who like to collect things, this is a wonderful collection of mugs and jars. You might not understand me, oh well. But if you do, this is nice, won’t you agree?
Another favourite sight of mine is of course a good looking man. Hehhehe…
tears. years. friends. smiles.
Count your life by smiles, not by tears.
Count your age by friends, not by years.
Tears and years. Smiles and friends. don’t only rhymes. They are perfect combination.
Tears and years.
Yup. Through these years, I have been facing so many tearing days, good and bad. Maybe it is because of my melancholy personality that I shed so much tears in life. But whatever the reason was, I am very much thankful for every tears I shed.
Most tears are created by painful time. Time where, you have to let go every tension and anger and bitterness through salty liquid from your body that God created exactly for that reason. Some says they are the ones who made my eyes even more soggy and small. They get a point there. But, I believe that God intended every tears I shed for a very good cause. Read the rest of this entry »
