Being Asian in north european country, I take my visit to asian restaurant seriously. This is because, first, it’s super expensive. And second, it’s super expensive. So when I heard from my Indonesian friend that this Thai place called Ban Gaw is highly recommended, I find time to go there.

I celebrated my first Friday of 2019, Gangnam Style. 🇰🇷 Having two beautiful South Korean girls as good friends is an amazing experience. We headed to Miga restaurant in slightly west area of Copenhagen.

Bird Box

Bird Box is the last movie that I watched in 2018, in Netflix. I was not sure what I was watching since it was my friend who chose the movie. I could recognize Sandra Bullock though, hoping that she would promise me a good movie.

Papa Ramen

Papa Ramen is the second option of ramen place that I would recommend after Ramen to Bííru.

I actually chose the place as a farewell dinner for our friend Campbell. I thought the best place to send someone to a new journey is a place where we could experience a lot of flavor.

The delicacy of Japanese food is one of my comfort gateways while living away from or at home. Ramen is what to get when the stresses of life is unbearable. It’s spicy soup awakes all the nerves and tingles all my senses.

Coming from Indonesia and living in Denmark, I dont have the previlige to enjoy subway sandwiches. Therefore everytime I travel, aside from trying local cuisine, I always try to stop by to enjoy one or two 30-cm subway sandwiches.

You cannot say that you are being good to yourself without allowing yourself to indulge to your favourite food. So, this time around, not a new raincoat, not a yoga routine nor a new bathroom scale. It’s: Give your tastebuds what they like the most. And for me (one of sooo many) is Sushi! 🍣🍤🍥

Last week, I treated myself with a wonderful cute pink raincoat.

It’s part of my be good to myself project. Since I lived in Denmark, I have always shopped in flea markets known as loppemarked. Rarely, I buy new things except when I am travelling. Or when I am sure, the flea markets would not have my size. So, it’s kinda worth-to-tell when I bought myself this raincoat.

My trip to Milan is special because I have not been travelling alone for so long. In fact, I could not even remember the last time I travelled alone. So, to lessen my worry, I asked for a hostel recommendation from my friend. And she said that choosing Ostello Bello Grande would never go wrong. And I prove it. Located in Via Roberto Lepetit, 33, 20124 Milano, Italy, this hostel is just 5min walk airport shuttle terminal. It’s also 7min walk from Milan Central Station.

I arrived last night around 1AM. 24h reception welcomed me with a smile and welcome drink. I checked in to a 5-bed-mixed dormitary room which was occupied with me and one guy. Milan was so warm that night but luckily the room has an AC. I slept soundly immediately. Woke up and took a shower, I realised a girl came last night (morning?). I didnot hear her. Thanks for being quiet, good hostel manner.
