Spritually bullied at Christmas season
So today, is the 8th of December 2015. I felt spiritually bullied. In Spain, today is a public holiday because Spain celebrates The Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
It is celebrating the solemn belief in the Immaculate Conception of theBlessed Virgin Mary. It is celebrated on December 8, nine months before the feast of the Nativity of Mary, which is celebrated on September 8. It is one of the most important Marian feasts celebrated in the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church celebrated worldwide. (source: wiki)
I perfectly understand that people dont share the same belief, but in a group where I am in, people mock, ridicule, and make joke on this day. I felt so.. so sad. Been living in the country where Islam is the majority belief, I have never felt spiritually bullied like today. What did Jesus do to them that they do this to him?
Tex-Mex Christmas
Having tried a lot of spanish and portuguese cuisine in the past days, I decided to go for some mexican. One of the places we visited is The ‘La Venganza de Malinche.’
This place was the first (note: first), mexican restaurant that we visited in Madrid. Its name literally translate as The Revenge of Malince. It had a huge skeleton drawing in front of the door. I don’t know whether it was a welcoming thing or not, but since the internet recommended it, we tried it anyway. When we entered the place, we liked it instantly. It was very vibrant with colors, wooden furniture, black-shirt waiters and nice ambience. All menus are in spanish of course, and my knowledge of mexican food suddenly down to zero.
Christmas in a Club
I am not a clubber type of girl, to be honest, but I do sometimes go to a club with my friends to enjoy some music. So, when I went to Madrid with my friend, we visited Teatro Kapital which was said a 7-floor dance club, a megaclub in Madrid. Whoa!
Happy 1st Dec 2015
I wrote a post about Starbucks Red Cups couple of weeks ago and today I reflected on it one more time when I had my afternoon coffee at Costa Coffee, Plaza De Isabel II, Madrid.
You can call me shallow, but aren’t these cups cute? And dont you think they will bring a little bit Christmas atmosphere in the room?
Kafe Antzokia, Bilbao, Spain
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
To be honest, I did not manage to write any piece for the passfew days as I promised myself to. Well, now I am trying to catch up. I hope it still feels as if it happened on the day.
The most hillarious Sunday, ever!
If anyone’s will is to do God’s will, he will know…
I have to admit, I just had the most hillarious Sunday ever. The story goes like this…
