Happy New Year to you all survivors out there! 🎉🥳❤️

Second day of this year, midday, and I am still on my pijama licking my fingers after having chicken wings for lunch, with rice of course. In a minute, I will be playing either or both Gardenscapes and Twenty. 📱 Yep. I am without shame one of those who are without New Year resolutions. 😛

How to shake “it” off.

Being old (enough) amongst my friends in Copenhagen, I have this urge to point out some life lessons I’ve learnt during the discrepancy of age that I have with them. This one I adress how to shake “it” off. By it, I means anything and or everything that is or are undesirable in your head.

1. Take a good night sleep
Sometimes, the best cure is just rest. Those things and crazy ideas that are lingering in your minds might be lurking because you have not got enough sleep. Those are simply how your body is telling you that you need to sleep. Even when you woke up with reality that are the same, but trust me, you can handle them better after a good night sleep.

7 Thoughts On Singleness: Is Something Wrong With Me?

While you were hoping….

J.S. Park: Hospital Chaplain, Skeptical Christian

Anonymous asked a question:

I’m 27 years old and I’ve never had a boyfriend. I’ve only dated once but that didn’t go so well. I’ve prayed and I’ve prayed and I’ve asked God for my significant other but honestly sometimes I feel as if God doesn’t hear me. Which then causes my heart turmoil especially when I see other girls getting married and dating all the time. Hey dear sister, I know this is an especially painful season for you right now, but please allow me the grace to share a few thoughts with you.

1) Singleness is not a season of waiting.

I’ve said this before, but: You’re not waiting for a man.  A man is not…

…if you do, we are loyal to you for life.

If you ever met me, you would think I was an extrovert — I preach, I lead praise, I talk to everyone, I talk too much, and you can hear me laughing from across the street — but I am a full-blooded introvert.

If it were up to me, I’d rather be in my boxers all day eating Godiva while browsing food photo blogs and bothering my dog and cracking up at YouTube videos of Whose Line Is ItAnyway and leaving dry ironic comments all over Facebook while reading the latest theory on how Sherlock survived the second season finale.

I intensely guard my personal space and my private life.  It takes a herculean effort to step outside my comfort zone and interact with messy, fleshy, real live human beings.

Here’s how you handle us.

leave a comment »

While I am squeezing my tiny gray cells about what to write on my blog. My friend’s question came up to my mind, “How could you able to keep on doing that?”. We were at that time having a dinner together in one of the malls in Jakarta. I went there little late because I needed to go to the gym. There she asked, how can I manage to keep my gym schedule on track. So, here it goes.

#1. TAKE RISK

In order to survive the gym, you should, firstly, be a risk taker. Don’t you know that if there’s no risk involved, it means there’s no value inside. And when there’s no value inside, definitely there’s no point of doing it!

with 4 comments

Like it or not, life could never be the way you always want it to be, whoever you are. As an amateur psychologist (*wink*) I must say that being in a state of depressed, once a while, is a positive symptom telling that you are really alive. So, accept the fact that, you can-not, not, depressed once or more than once in your life.

So here are 5 ways that I usually do, when I am depressed.
