Be good to yourself
I am not a yearly resolution type of woman. But this half a year, I talked to myself that I will be good to myself.
Organic Movement
Today is my first time in my lifetime realizing doing the organic movement. As Wednesday is my Ice Skating School schedule, being in Dynamic Flow class is a surprise to my Yoga guru. She went crazy, I guessed. She was not giving us the regular dynamic flow, downward facing dog – plank – chaturanga dandasana – cobra – upward facing dog – and – back to – downward facing dog. Instead, she asked us to stay at chaturanga pose and lift our legs, one by one. My arms literally were shaking! Especially after having Body Pump classes on last Monday and Tuesday. And as if they were not crazy enough for me. She started to go wild and changed the normal plank into side plank. Dang! I frowned and chose the option. I created my own option. :p
Yoga: The Art of Breathing, The Art of Living
I still remember the first time I entered The Mind and Body Studio, everything so calm and peaceful, even the mat seemed friendlier. I had been peeking this studio for quite some time but my Body Pump experience warned me to be very careful with these classes. I remember that I joined Dynamic Flow class simply because my ownership of the name. I am dynamic and flow with the go (or go with the flow?) person.
Next thing I knew, I am queueing every Tuesday afternoon, in front of The Mind and Body Studio to have Gentle Flow Class.
