Irony

“Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a yesr there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will liveband do this or that.” As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. (James 4:13-16)

I am experiencing what people would call unbearable regrets. I call it unbearable because I have not stop crying ever since I realize what I have done. Indeed, losing something that you never have is nothing compared to losing something that you have.

I was on my own mission to hunt a master scholarahip for the past, I dont know, for the past life that I did not realize how valuable what I was currently having. I cried and cried when I failed and failed on my scholarship hunt until I got knocked out by the reality that I was losing what I currently having. It was crazy, seeing things that you have slipping away between your fingertips. It was as if I was trying to catch water with my bare hands.  I had not stop crying ever since.

It was such and irony and a strike by the lightning, I would say. Especially when you read James 4:13-16.
